How are participants selected?

Selection is based on:
Relevance of skills and experience to the available assignment(s)
Motivation and learning objectives
Endorsement from supervisor, RMO and senior management
Considerations of diversity, inclusion, and equitable access
Commitment to remain with IOM for one year after the assignment
First-time participants are prioritized when possible.
